Ozzy Osbourne animation

I created this animation of a bat snorting ants for Ozzy Osbourne’s Cryptobatz collection. The concept was inspired by one of rock music’s most notorious incidents, when Ozzy snorted a line of ants during a tour with Mötley Crüe.

The infamous event occurred in 1984 during the “Bark at the Moon” tour. As recounted in Mötley Crüe’s autobiography “The Dirt,” Ozzy and the band were hanging out by a pool in Florida when, after running out of cocaine, Ozzy spotted a line of ants on the ground. In an impulsive and shocking display that has become rock legend, he got down on his hands and knees and snorted the ants up his nose with a straw.

For this animation, I reimagined this wild rock ‘n’ roll moment by creating a cartoon bat with blonde hair (clearly representing Ozzy) snorting ants off what appears to be a Mötley Crüe cd. The character features Ozzy’s signature look with the distinctive hair and manic expression, while maintaining the playful, irreverent spirit of both the NFT collection and the original infamous incident.
